Welcome to the official website of the Turkish Embassy in Kampala.

I am delighted to take office as the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Uganda in February 2023. I feel very proud to represent my country in friendly Uganda, with which we cherish warm and cordial relations. During a time of turbulence on a global scale, these strong relations gain even more significance for our two countries.

Türkiye’s Africa Partnership Policy is progressing on a steadfast and mutually beneficial course, in line with our enterprising and humanitarian foreign policy.

In Kampala, the capital city of the Pearl of Africa, my team and I will continue working diligently to substantiate and further uplift the existing good relations between our two friendly countries.

Turkish-Ugandan relations are sound, comprehensive and multilayered. Economic and trade relations between the two countries are flourishing, with the total investment made by Turkish companies operating in Uganda steadily increasing. These companies help improve the infrastructure of Uganda, boost industrial production and contribute to the employment of Ugandans. With the support of our Office of Commercial Counsellor, we will continue to exert maximum effort so that bilateral economic and trade can reach its full potential.

With the affiliated bodies of our Embassy acting in complete cooperation, we will continue to enrich and promote political, military, trade, and cultural relations with Uganda. We would appreciate your opinion on any issue contributing to these relations.
