On behalf of the Turkish people and the Embassy staff, I extend my warmest greetings to our Muslim sisters and brothers both in Uganda and all over the world, including our fellow citizens, as we celebrate this year’s Eid-Al-Adha, the “Feast of Sacrifice.”

This is a day of utmost significance not only for us but also for humanity, to remind ourselves of the sacrifices we make for the good of everyone. As we celebrate this day, we uphold our love and respect for one another while striving to make our world a better place.

As this day also marks the end of the pilgrimage, I wish all Muslims performing this sacred practice a blessed Hajj.

I want to seize this opportunity to call upon more sacrifices as we unite our efforts to fight poverty and maintain peace.
